Foxbody Keyless Entry System

I'm on the luddite/curmudgeon side of things on this one. Had a viper alarm & key-fob for the locks. Didn't care for it. On Blackjack, I can't get the crappy LMR actuators to work worth a damn. I'm guessing I need to clean & lube everything connected to them, and/or maybe find better ones. But, despite the fact that it's my daily & I do lock it in some places, I am otherwise in no way interested in remote start, keyless entry, or any of that. To each their own, though.

Suspension Rack and Pinion Teflon seal /o-ring

Well an update, the parts from my sister came in the middle of February with USPS. Ordered from Rockauto middle of January and got them before my sister's arrived.
All put together and no leaks!
Definitely better to have the right part. When we are installing the new set of tires from 4Wheelonline, we noticed a leak at the rack and pinion;. The previous owner put a cheapo seal.

Resolved Cranks but still doesn’t start. Ran through the checklist and still doesn’t start.

Turns out, it was the injectors. I took the “pencil thin” injectors out and put the factory Bosch ones back in. Started RIGHT up.

I sincerely thank everyone who helped. It’s been a long run, so far. And the work is just getting started.

Progress Thread Pearl To White - Paint Time

Little bit of an update. I'm picking up my car this weekend unfinished. It's all painted but still needs some assembling on it. They ended up finding my door panels and rear lower seat in a box all the way in the back of the shop. Now they are stuck with the door panels, arm rest and rear seat that they purchased for $2100 shipped to my door. I'll report back once I get the car home and inventory all my parts. Wish me luck fellas.
Awesome! Good luck gettin it together man!! Hope it goes smooth.

Wheels-Tires Wheel/tire Combos Known To Fit

American Racing lists the 4x4.25/4x108 in the 15x7 but it appears, at least everywhere I've looked, lists them as out of stock. I wonder if you can even still order them.... It might be a good idea to stop in to a brick and mortar dealer and ask about them, you may still be able to special order them through a dealer whereas you might not have any luck just looking online.

Paint and Body Any non oil resistant parts in engine bay?

They're not hoses or wires like you mentioned, but some types of rubber will break down under constant oil exposure. Don't know if they are made of the type of rubber that is adversely affected by oil, but a few underhood pieces that come to mind are strut mount isolators, sway bar bushings and motor mounts.

Engine Does anyone elses engine cough?

You could try the giggl'n wires method, sometimes it's just loose crap, engine running of course.
need to check:
codes
Fuel pressure - vac line on and off
vacuum reading
Like the general says, check for any loose wires.
After the resto on my Dodge, it would not crank occasionally and I had charging problems...
Turned out to be a loose nut on the starter relay... took a new alternator and starter relay to figure it out...

Brake question

That answer is they are not. Only the rear brakes are reduced in pressure. The line going into the combination valve is used by the valve if the front brake pressure is lower than the rear brake pressure. The shuttle valve will then move and put full brake pressure to the rear brakes. This was in case of a leak or issue with the front brake pressure. There are baffles in the MC reservoir that will keep fluid on rear brakes if the fronts develop a leak.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your explanation. TY

Engine Block identification help

OK, I follow you now.... Not good......
Yeah it sucks but I got a full GT40 "parts" motor with 120k miles for $200 so I'm ok with that. I have another junkyard engine coming in the next day or two. It's out of a '99 Moutaineer and supposedly has 130k miles. Hopefully this one is in better shape. I plan on putting my F cam in it, changing the valve springs, oil pan gasket, rear main gasket and sticking it in the car.
