Also doesn't really know where to get a good Hood cable from because I need to replace mine this is my first project car I love the thing that is and I just want to have some fun with it but right now the things having overheating problems and the carburetor and the battery are all out of whack the carburetor leaks gas the battery smacks against the side of the heads because it's side-mounted for some reason and the water pump and radiator leak can only drive it for 5 miles for 3 minutes if you got it and don't get caught also don't use the turn signals they don't work

Thanks for you the images do you have any others also could you give me the name of that manual. sorry for the bad wording I used speech-to-text and I did not look it back over that's on me what I meant to say was I need to know how to take out ignition because my key is stuck in my ignition and I need to replace it and I don't want to take it to the mechanic and have them do it because that's going to cost me more than I would like to spend and this is my project car so I want to work on it I just can't find any information on mustang 2 and how to fix them really. But I need to know how to fully remove the ignition and the install the ignition the images are kind of helpful but I need a bit more information on it to know how to actually fix it do you know of any maintenance manuals or anything along that line that I could look at.

name of that manual.

Haynes

But there is only about three after market, Haynes, Clymer and Chilton. They can be found on Flea bay now and then.
I've seen some original Ford stuff too but harder to come by. Pinto Stuff is often related closely.

As it should be.

You can find one of those books at O'Reilly's on occasion, but online would probably be your best bet.

As for replacing the lock cylinder for the ignition, it's pretty easy as long as the key can still be inserted and turned. You'll have to remove the steering wheel, but you'll see on the bottom side, toward the back where the cylinder is located, there is a small pin. It's spring loaded and locks the cylinder in place. But, if memory serves, you have to have the cylinder in the run position for the lock cylinder to actually be removed, otherwise the pin cannot be depressed. Since your key is stuck in the lock you should have no problems once you get the steering wheel off and go to remove it.

As it should be.
Out of those three manuals, Clymer is best, then Chilton. The Haynes can be used as a toilet paper substitute should your local Walmart or Costco still be out of stock.
