Yup...the colors match the color of my car well. It's the 3 color red one. Don't know if I'm putting it on the front or the back window. The decal is straight and the front window top is curved.
I’m guessing that it doesn’t matter to you that “windshield banners” are generally frowned upon, regardless of what they say on them?

Kinda up there with Chinee tail lights, and double whale tail spoilers....

Doesn't matter one bit to me. This car isn't about what everyone else wants...its about what I want. That retro motorsport banner is cool- I likes it.

Thats great Im right behind you with my red fox. I was thinking white , but who knows. I think everybody will have one when we see yours. I have the feeling that those are going to make the car. Not that yours needs "making". They remind me so much of being eighteen yrs. old again.

Some picture updates...

Found out my seat belts latches are shorter than the originals and wouldn't fit in the sleeve. They were replaced after 2014 according to this tag.

This is the color difference with NPD.

I marked and cut them down...good thing they weren't good OEM ones. Now they look a lot better. I'm going to paint my center console when it warms up in the spring, don't worry.

On to the window banner....

The banner came out OK. It'll look better in the sun. Called the ol' lady out and had her give me opinions on placement. She wasn't a fan of the back window.

Taped it down, measured, and layed out placement.

The bottom line of red is darker than in the pic. Heres an example of what the camera lens does. No way to get a good color representation.

It's almost like a reflective color. I like it though. Needs a tint strip behind it.

This is my anniversary weekend. Yes, my dumb arse met this woman a week before valentines day. Smh

Might not be on as much this week. I planned for us to go to St.Thomas but she doesn't want to fly. We'll be on day excursions throughout the week. Yay !!! to week long Valentines day !!! :bang:

Had a moment to escape to the garage. The new actuators are amazing from LMR. I'll update with some pics of those. Very good quality and strong working mechanism. I didn't rivet them on. Instead, I chose to bolt them. My moisture barrier was all kids of screwed up. Previous owner had used duct tape and masking tape to try and secure it. I removed that stuff and gorilla taped it together. No one will see it behind the panel. I replaced all of the clips and I'm satisfied with the result.

It's amazing this stuff is even still on the car after 340,000+ miles. I'll be replacing the door armrest and chrome trim soon. The new console armrest pad from LMR fits perfect. Its a hair lighter than my original interior but is close enough to no matter. My interior plastics all seem to be a little darker than normal. I think the PO spent a lot of time smoking in the car or something in the past. Doesn't smell like it but stuff is definitely darker....I think the quarter panel plastic has been repainted at some point. I'll fix'er up though.

These actuators are very well made from ACP through LMR. They aren't the old Dorman ones that have plagued people with issues for years.

Very nice powerful actuator. I was worried about them being Dorman and was willing to take the chance. I'm very pleased with what I got.

Oh and the center console elbow pad that fits great and used the factory screws !!! The one from NPD was almost 1/4 inch narrower and sucked arse.

Nice man! Must feel good getting all those little things fixed up that often get put on the back burner!!

It does. I've put a bunch of this stuff off for 5 years. There are just 10 things from my original " to do " list and maybe 4 added things.

Its funny how we do these crazy things to our cars but then you replace the door handle or seat belt support thing and it leaves you feeling so accomplished. Must just be the little annoying things that only we would notice

I'm glad to be at the point of small things. Fired the car up and the idle settled where it should. No unusual noises and no leaks. Brakes and steering work well.

Working on the front bumper now. My driveway is a hill and the front bumper contacted the transition between the asphalt and the concrete. 3m8115 with the drywall mesh failed and opened the crack from my bush surfing incident at Walmart again. I know I'm going to have to buy another cobra bumper and do the conversion again. I'm just trying to hold out until next winter.

I'm going to drill pock marks all over the inside and use some bumper repair epoxy and the same fiberglass drywall mesh as a reinforcement. The crack itself is holding with a general amount of gorilla super glue. Lol. I was going to do the hot staple thing but had time to mess around and haven't purchased one yet. If this attempt doesn't hold I'll order the hot staple kit and try that.

Had a nice anniversary dinner at our friends house. Absolutely amazing. Good time and good people. Their winery estate is really nice. The house is a recreation of President Jefferson home...down to every detail with a touch of modernism. I'm sure Jefferson wishes he had an elevator back then.

Not a whole lot of pics. Trying to keep my phone out of my hands for a change. 12 years with this woman.

I've been trying all types of stuff to make the ends of the cobra bumper. On a 91- 93 there's no issue, but my car is a 88 so extensions have to be made. I tried spray foam ( used that a bunch way back in the days...but wouldn't work for this ), tried clay ( have done a bunch of mold making and such way back in the days...wouldn't work for this )...resorted to the tried and true cardboard templates and aluminum foil. Had to have the bumper off and a stand. Plus, I procrastinate and jump to other things.

Anyways, here's where I'm at. Gotta pick up more glass, resin, and activator tomorrow. Had less than I thought.
