Ecm question

Ok so the car has 1990 truck block, mountaineer intake, HO cam grind auto trans. It has the truck ecm.Can I have the firing order reflashed or do I need a new ecm. If so witch one do I need Al, P or what. Always liked Mercury Comets but I'm a Chevy guy with his first 5.0 Any help would be appreciated.

Computers in 86-95 Mustangs cannot be flashed. If the car came with an automatic transmission, you need an A9P computer. That will give you the HO firing order and the correct start circuit setup.
