First Impressions of new PMS unit (and a couple more pics)

Hey Jason. All tuning changes are made in car with the hand-held unit pictured above. The hand-held is a real time monitor when not used to make changes. That's the mods that it's in above: Monitor. You'd only need a laptop if you wanted to datalog. You'd also need the optional InterACQ...

First Impressions of new PMS unit (and a couple more pics)

I installed my new (and revised for 2004) PMS unit yesterday and have posted my thoughts about it. Let me also add, that for us 94-95 owners with mods, I have gotten an almost stock type idle out of it in less than an hour. Something that was never obtainable with the custom burned Fordchip I...

    NEW PAINT PICS...Finally!

Thanks guys! :nice: As for price, he quoted another friend a ballpark estimate of between 5 & 6 grand for the same job on his 95 Cobra... As for what it cost me...lots of labor :rlaugh: He has a few sweet rides himself that I am either doing the mods to, or doing an occassional...

    NEW PAINT PICS...Finally!

THanks Joe. The painter/body man is a good friend of mine. He's had the car since late October, but you're right, he did it right...He took it on as a "side job" and worked on it as time permitted, that's why it took so long, but I am happy with the finished product...

    NEW PAINT PICS...Finally!

I finally got a chance (and some SUN) to get some fresh pics of my newly painted 94 GT. Paint is Chrome Yellow, with Gold Pearl...3 stage paint...I got it back the other day, but haven't gotten home from work early enough to get any pics...Here's a "sneak peek"...As you can see, I changed my...

275/40/17's on the front, on 17x9 wheels, and lowered with a Steeda Sport spring kit... No rubbing ever.

Let me see your aftermarket hoods

:rlaugh: hehe....I dunno... Actually, I had an NOS dry setup on it when the engine was bone stock. I've since swapped on some heads, a cam, and an intake, and removed and sold the nitrous setup...

    Best Sounding Muffler

I run MAC 1-5/8" equal-length shorties, a Bassani catted X pipe, and MAC FlowPath catback. IMO, it sounds much better than it did with an off road H pipe...Quieter, but deeper. Still screams at WOT though. :nice:

How far can I drop in back with 10.5s?

Boosted94: What brand tire is that on the rear? Thanks.

How far can I drop in back with 10.5s?

Nice looking ride! I agree about the 275's VS. 315's. I originally had 275/40's on the back, and it didn't look bad...until I put the 315's on. ;)

How far can I drop in back with 10.5s?

Thanks. The reason it looks lower is probably because when I first installed the springs, I didn't have any rear spring isolators. I do now, and it's up maybe another half inch or less...The fronts only have one isolator. I have a new set for them too, just waiting for the Spring...or a decent...

How far can I drop in back with 10.5s?

Here's mine: 17x9 fronts with 275/40's 17x10.5 rears with 315/35/17 BFG drag radials Steeda Sport springs I had to loosen and re-position one tailpipe, and I removed the dust shields from the quadshocks (didn't need to flip them) and they do not rub anywhere at anytime...not even with the...
