steeda vs maximummotorsports rear sway bars

If you are comparing MM's adjustable bar to Steeda's adjustable version, yes they do work in different ways. The Steeda is a secondary bar that works along with the stock one for fine tuning. Steeda has had a lot of success with that bar in racing. I would have thought they would have gotten...

MM&FF has them featured in an install in the October issue that is just now coming out. Seems they liked them just fine.

    Spyder Shaft or Dynotech Driveshaft?

Called Steeda late this morning as was told they in fact no longer sell the Spydershaft. They told me they changed part numbers when they switched and the part numbers on their website now are totally different from what is in my paper catalog at home. Unfortunately they would not tell me...

    Spyder Shaft or Dynotech Driveshaft?

Care to explain to me then why they looked different then? They werent even close. The spydershaft looked like Ray Charles did the welding. The shaft Steeda put in looked like a robot did the welding. Night and day difference. Oh, and the Steeda didnt vibrate like my Spydershaft either.

    Spyder Shaft or Dynotech Driveshaft?

Actually, its not. I had a Spydershaft they took out to put theirs in. It looked different. Welds were much nicer on the Steeda one. Almost like a machine did it instead of a person. Don't know how else to describe it.

    Spyder Shaft or Dynotech Driveshaft?

You will love it. I got the Steeda one in my 06 and its great. No vibrations, noticeably better acceleration. It did not use adapters either. It came with a new pinion flange which they replaced and installed the shaft.

Steeda Tri Ax -vs- Pro 5.0

No hard feelings, but your opinion is just that, opinion, not facts. Its a preference. I have seen the threads on other boards. Changing of springs, use the stock bushings, wait for MGW's new bushings, nothing like having your customers do your R&D for you in the field after you release...

Steeda Tri Ax -vs- Pro 5.0

I have, in my buddy's GT500 with stock motor mounts making close to 550 to the wheels. No problems whatsover with his Triax. He has a stock clutch though. Maybe its your clutch. And my old 93 LX with a TR3550 behind a 408 stroker was perfect too. :nice:

Steeda Tri Ax -vs- Pro 5.0

My 3rd gear is effortless with my Steeda Tri-Ax. No issues at any RPM. Just like with all my previous cars. They have all had Tri-Ax shifters. :nice:

    MACH 1 VS. 06

Guess the Mach 1 that I last won against that was powershifting was "granny" powershifting. It is a drivers race. The cars are very close.

    Steeda lowering springs noises

I have seen where the factory front swaybar endlinks are loose and they make a rattling noise. Check out your endlinks and tighten them up really good. If its not the strut mounts, that may be the answer.
