    If you want to do a swap, you'll need it's ECM, entire engine, perhaps the trans too. You'll also want to look into the rearend. The wiring harness is all but a must have.     Have you run 13.2 or 13.5 on the 1/4 mile? I believe the latter at this point, and that included modifications, right? The same Mustang has evidently run 13.603 or close with no mods, but better weather and more than two trips to the dragstrip.

    Manual Rack vs. Power Rack

    I'm told the 79 model will replace the power rack. That said, I chose the F.R. assembly. I'm extremely happy with it. Bolt it was a no brainer and there's not a problem in sight. I've had it since 2002.

    For supercharging, I wouldn't think to use a pre 89 3.8L V6. Even then it's debatable as to the worth.
