    great comparos as always grady the 5.4 is a tall deck and sits up through the hood. local guy has a lightning motor in a 98gt and he has a huge cowl hood on it and it barely clears. i think you can get 5.4's into the 5.8 territory now. from my perspective its still too much weight...

    my current/next project is a 92 lx hatch with a turbo 2.3. i say go for maximum lightness, full handling suspension, big brakes, etc.... that 03 cobra stuff weighs way too much.

    how much brake fluid to flush the system?

    just for arguments sake, motul is a bit overrated. valvoline high perf synpower is just as good and a tad easier on the pocket book. i use just regular old bmw dot 4 and have not had an issue. the key is to flush the living **** out of it so all the moisture is gone. wet boiling temps...

    just a note that the gt40 heads will have some vertical grooves cast into the fronts of the heads. no grooves=no gt40.

    how much brake fluid to flush the system?

    depends on how hard core you want to get. when i did mine i used about a gallon of brake fluid(it was free so i was very liberal) and about 1 quart of alcohol. it took me about 4 hours using a vacula, but now my fluid looks brand spankin new.

    mb's are not drivers cars. i will say i like the looks of alot of them, but that is where it stops. just a comparo, but a 02 e55 amg has 8 piston front calipers/4 piston rears weighs the same as an 02 M5 that has 1 piston calipers all the way around yet the M5 has a shorter stopping distance.
