    Maybe its just me, but the standard (non track pack) front brakes look like unbranded brembos? Maybe 4 piston units? They look as adequate as the 11-14 brembos, maybe a smaller rotor?

    Not sure why, i made my own 1 5/8" headers into 2.5" collectors that feed a T4 .81 housing on a 62mm turbonetic. The downpipe is a 3" that splits to feed my old magnaflow xpipe system (useless for the x i know). It just doesnt have that muscle car sound now, ill probably try it next spring...

    well, i fixed my issues...by adding a turbo. its amazing how quiet the car is now, im going to remove the muffs to get more growl. all i hear is whistle.

    I have to disagree. I think he means it stalls when in gear coming to a stop. This happened to my car when I swapped my cam. I installed a tci break a way converter and it took care of the excessive load at idle in gear. Your guy has the right idea.

    The turndowns were directly on the mufflers, and gave the smell. I have yet to try the tailpipes without the tips (big wazoos i believe), since i welded them to the pipes. I have been looking at the dynomax vt mufflers with the internal flap. Looks interesting.

    I installed 60229 i believe, about 6 years back, and did drill the block. I see the logic of 2+2 but they must know something that we do not. If i understand correctly, you now have a plate with a 5/8" hole in place of the tstat? If so i would try a tstat first, and then if it doesnt help...

    620 coil spring question

    I believe 1/2" lower at the spring perch drops the fender to ground height 1". So possibly you need a 3/4 top spacer. I did this on my car when i cut equal amounts off of 620s, and my fender measurements where off. I trimmed one of the 1" spacers to get the gaps the same.

    Weird question, but my 67 coupe puts the parking lights on when the switch is in park, but shuts them off with the headlights on. While the front parking lights are on, the turn signals blink the second filment (1157na bulbs), but with the headlights on the turn signal blink the same filiment...

    I am still not sure if it was because i had 18" stainless tips (maybe hedman big wazoos or something like that). They have 3.5" outlet, so maybe it was like a megaphone.

    i have the 2.5 stainless magnaflow kit on my car. It fit very well, if you take your time it can be perfectly symmetrical. With the tailpipes, i got a loud drown at 1500-2000, about highway 5 gear speeds. For fun, i removed the pipes and just dumped the mufflers. Now it has no extra noise...

    I too have the 2.5" kit, and i found it to drone like crazy as a complete kit. But as soon as i took off the tailpipes, no more drone.? I like how it sounds.

    More low fuel psi issues when hot

    its a mechanical pump. I was busy today and didnt get to look at it, but i am concerned it may be an issue with my tank not venting, so im pulling a vacuum the longer it runs. I do not have a regulator, but i never have a over fueling situation.
