    Cutting down valve tips

    Should cutting the tips on stainless valves be done? I ask because I bought some Racer Walsh valves which are 1/8" longer than stock and with everything on the head installed they are not closing completely during the compression cycle. Or maybe I'm stuck ordering some shorter valves...
