    my subframe connectors (56K Killer)

I didn't bend it, every bend was made by cutting and welding at angles. I did a stress test on a piece that I measured wrong, the welds are strong, I would say stronger than the parent metal, using my 22.5 ton press, the square tubing will distort and bend but the welds never gave.

    C4 Question..what did I miss?

C4 oil pressure test, all with engine idling, and breaks applied Neutral 50 to 90; Drive 60 to 90; 2nd or 1st 90 to 110; reverse 150 to 180 psi.

    C4 Question..what did I miss?

the c4 has a port for testing transmission pressure... I think it's in front of the shift linkage. I had a guy with something like you were describing... his fluid was low, check that, and then make sure the bands are adjusted correctly, if those are fine, and they probably are, you could have...

Ok, I have uploaded pics to a different site, the quickgrip is holding up the exhaust pipes, as I have removed the mufflers to work on some stuff back when these photos were taken.

    roller cam block

If this was myself, I would do it either of two ways ( retain the newer 50oz stuff, crank balancer, and have art carr provide a flexplate/flywheel to work with the engine and II's tranny, the benefit of this is that no machine work would be required, but it would be expensive. OR I think I...

    roller cam block

Your right, I think that the old crank can be machined to work with the one piece rear seal, then you can use and old crank with the II's flexplate/flywheel,

    roller cam block

crane cams has a conversion for your block. If I recall correctly, it uses a special lifter, but you can use standard late model 5.0 cams with it. That way you have a wide assortment of sticks to go with. these guys http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2001/01/rollerconversion/index.shtml did...

Considering doing a 351w swap into my 302, whats needed?

I dunno about the steering rack, I have a power one, that currently has no power, it leaked so now it has armstrong steering. I think the power rack may be bigger, someone who has both could perhaps take some measurements.

Considering doing a 351w swap into my 302, whats needed?

the 302 oil pan will not work at all, sorry but you'll need a 351 pan. Several people are using aftermarket pans, perhaps they know the part numbers for them

Considering doing a 351w swap into my 302, whats needed?

if I were to go a 351 swap, I seriously would consider a motor plate instead of motor mounts. The reason for this, is then you would have room for headers, and make life easier. check out his car for some ideas http://groups.msn.com/racersofokc/robertszewczyk76mustangii.msnw

    351w with decked heads ?

maybe the block was decked. They do this for two reasons, to make sure the piston is flush with the top of the bore, and it provides a flat surface for the gasket to seal to.

    351w with decked heads ?

maybe the heads were "decked" so that the gasket surface was completly flat. Sometimes when you remove material from the head to gain compression, you end up with funky angles and intake manifolds don't match up anymore, then they have to be "decked" to get them to mate properly. Another...

    my subframe connectors (56K Killer)

the only thing that had to be re-routed was the fuel line, but I was going to do that anyhow, so that's it. It's not welded to the floorpan, but you're giving me ideas.

    my subframe connectors (56K Killer)

Hi All! Well I snapped some subframe pics cause the car is up high due to putting in a new tranny. While it was up high, I thought maybe a few folks would like to see my home made subframe connectors. Total cost $14, along with some welding wire, welding gas, and time. They fit nice and snug...
