    woooohhhh, STOP that is a Ford Tempo. it has an escort motor in it. a CVH which are no where the same. now if you wanted to do a swap into that one I would convert it to rear drive and dry sump the 2.3 turbo for ground clearance. but no they are not the same. unfortunately I know these CVH...

    depends on what pinto it is. from what I remember they had both the 2.3 (lima) and the 2.0 (pinto) block in the pinto's. the two are incompatable though. look the same, but not.

    possibility your synchros could be going bad, unless the problem is just in Reverse. then that is just a normall thing.
