    Are you sure that is not for the solid lifeters. I have never heard of clearances being checked on hydraulics. after all that is the reason for them! The whole advantage to having the hydrolics is auto adjustement. besides, I dont think there is a way to adjust them anyways. how worn out is the...

    sounds like you know where you are going. prices sound right go with the hybrid. it will be worth it. call my guy in Florida and talk with him about what you are looking for in the car as far as performance and reliability. I get all of my turbos from him and he has not let me down once...

    cam timing or somehow a valve got bent. if the valves are not shutting correctly they will look right from the top but will just let all of the compression back out as it gets it.

    thats some good info on a break in. sounds similar to how my shop did it when I had a motor rebuilt. As for the noise sometimes it wont go away untill it is driven a bit.if the lifters were not left in oil before installation, that could cause some problems. I would atleast take it out and...

    thats crazzy, why dd you cut the top? for the sun-roof? thats one cho0ped up bird actually dosnt look bad as a targa top. MM&FF has one that a guy did that to his stang.

    yes! you can hear it alot better, I have a turbo muffler of some sort and a gutted cat and I can hear the turbo at the end of it. makes a nice whirle noise.

    I was told that if the CC's wernt matched then it would over heat. maybe that is more so on the bigger motors with more cylinders.

    Unless you are racing or want all that weight reduction. they also make fiberglass doors and fenders. I am suprised that the GT 3rd brake harness dosnt fit the lx. where is the light on the lx?

    did you check the CC's all the way across on the combustion chambers? Today I was removing some Oxygen enjector bumps and my damn stone came off of the shaft. grrr. I would of been done today to! you had the 3 angle drind done afterwards to the valve seats?
