    460 swap....oil pan

look on Ebay for the ford racing swap kit, a rear sump pan is the only pan that will work, and a truck pan will be way too deep and hit the P/S rack if you're using p/s and swap motor mounts. Nothing needs to be disconnected to put the motor in, just be sure to set the headers in place when...

Pics of my side exit setup...

Love them, one of the best exhaust mods you can do. My 3" dual plate system was $215 plus shipping, they are mccord power plates. Lots of the big block ford mud racers use these when mudding and have had no problems with them. Heres the website: http://www.mccordcg.com/mpp/mpp.htm Heres...

This is for everybody who wanted to see my side exit setup that i made form scratch. The motor is pretty dirty after a whole summer of cruising and car shows. I took theses today before i stored the car for winter, i plan on cleaning everything next spring, and getting new heads, comfortable...

Looking for pics of side exit exhuast on LX, and other ?'s

I'll try to snap a pic of mine, its all 3" tubing into flowmaster super 40s into box tip SS side exits that are angle cut to match the body lines, looks very nice, sounds even better, by far the best system i've tried on the big block fox (and i've tried pretty much everything). The car is...

what do you run under your pony?

I'm a fabricator at StainlessWorks, and I've have spintechs, all kinds of flowmasters, dynomax, cheap crap, and sampled all SW has to offer. And out of all of them, dynomax race bullets for max performance, flowmaster for a great tone and performance. Bassani street comps are expensive, but its...

    390 in Foxbody

daily driver would suck, but i can still corner in my car, i don't know where everyone is getting the "its so heavy and can't corner" mind you i can't do well on a road race course, but it still corners very nicely. Stopping feels wierd, like having a fat kid on your hood :).

    which cam??

+1 for a 5.0, much better cam than E303 because of its split duration, it helps ford's crappy exhaust ports. and the idle is comparable to the E303.

    Hydraulic, Solid and Roller...

solid, because you are going strip only, look into the xr292r from comp, the best solid cam out there for BBF, its what i would choose if i had a solid setup, but my big block fox is mostly street driven.

what do you run under your pony?

The super 40s are actually louder than everyone makes them out to be with less drone, on my car ( i know its different than most other's on here) but it sounds wicked with the super 40s into side exits, super deep and very loud.

    429, good or bad idea??

FYI, 429 and 460 are the same block and heads, the 460 is just a stroked version of the 429. But you can't use a 460 crank with 429 rods and pistons, the compression distance is different on the 429 pistons. It may make more TQ and HP than a 429, but its not a 100 hp difference. Everybody...

    429, good or bad idea??

As for EFI 460, how about an EFI 473 fox, my build was based off this guy's except mines carbed so my motor sounds almost exactly the same. This is a vid of the first startup of his car.
