    dyno numbers--Suggestions??

here is a pic of the graph. The difference between the lower and the higher pull is taking out a pound of fuel pressure. I always run 93 octane fuel also. The ECC, MAF, and 24# injectors are all the ford cobra conversion kit also. http://members.cox.net/cola8d8/DSC01258.JPG

    dyno numbers--Suggestions??

They did not do any dyno tuning (at my request, they offered). My timing was at 14 and the A/F was good so I spent the $65 for 2 pulls instead of the $150/hour for "dyno tune". With the disappointing numbers I choose not to spend the extxa $$$ for a "dyno tune" since the A/F ratio was where it...

Had the car dyno tested on a Dynojet today, I was a little disappointed (251hp/282 tq). I have a the X cam, TFS street heat intake, and AFR 165 heads. They guys at the shop told me I really needed the AFR 185 heads. Any one agree? Disagree? Suggestions? Air/fuel was good at just under 14...

Need help with my '88 GT

Disconnecting the fuel lines can be a real pain too, especially if they have never been off. You will need those little A/C-fuel line disconnect tools ("rings") for this.

Electrial wizards plz read... Cranking car and ground wire melted.... more.....

Make sure there are no wires pinched between the motor mounts and engine or MM and frame. Same thing happened to a friend and that was the cause.

Noobie Roller Rocker install education needed

Look here: http://www.mustang50magazine.com/techarticles/18679/ "...installed as shown: pedestal channel, followed by the pedestals and the rockers. A 5/16-inch bolt passes through the middle of each rocker and is fastened to the boss on the head"

Noobie Roller Rocker install education needed

There are little meatl blocks, the side of it that goes down is flat and the "top" side of it has a "U" to hold the rocker arm in place. The bottom of these blocks sit in a piece of metal with a "groove" in it to keep everything from rotating. Not a very good explination but I will look for...

    Main bolt ?

Do you have to use the factory type main bolt (the one with a stud on the end) to hold the oil pump pick up tube? If you use a regular main bolt do you just let the oil pump pick up be held in place by the oil pump?

Where can i find a single Header Stud?

You should be able to get them at any parts store. I just did. I also used a tap to clean out the threads first.

    AFR bolt holes

I am installing ARF 165s (part #1472). After getting the everything off the front of the stock motor it appears that one of the accessory holes on the front of the AFR head is going to be too big for one of the stock studs (driver side if I remember right). Is this correct or was I just...
