    EGR removal

In order to get at the Oil pressure sender I'm disconnecting the EGR on my 87 TC. I've blocked this thing off on other NA cars without any ill effects so my question... Are there any reasons I can't delete this (apperently useless) system from my TC? thx HD

Did ford ever make a EFI I6 motor?

Carbed ones run about 100hp and FI at about 150. The low end grunt is incredible though. I used to (party gag) stick my 85 in gear, reach in and turn the key and watch it drive itself around with nobody inside. Even with a box full of wasted partiers. Saw a 67 Merc' last year done up for the...

    I Bought an 86 SVO...

Unbelievable....... I'm clicking my heals, Kansas, Kansas.......a little bit closer and I'd haul all your "unwanteds" away. ....at least I still have my first TC now. BTW, Stinger is your website still up and functional? HD

Did ford ever make a EFI I6 motor?

Yup The 300-6 was injected from about '86 till they killed it in '95 (or so). Damn good motor whether with 1bbl carb or .... Better truck motor than the 302 by far. IMHO any V6 will never live up to it. HD

    Impulse buy, '87 TC

The wife was off at work on Saturday so I took the boys to the auction to have a bit of fun. We were going to bid on a 26' travel trailer to go with the truck I bought a few months ago (95 F150 4x4, 351, 3.55 gears, warn hubs etc.). Anyways the trailer goes for $50 more than what I wanted to bid...

    Riding Lawn Mower

If there's good spark... Remove the airfilter and spray fuel in carb while cranking. If starts and runs for a bit, it's your fuel delivery. Dump the tank, blow out the lines, put a $10 carb kit in (clean the carb while installing). Then get some fresh premium fuel and 9x out of 10 the BS...

    Cobra Tails

Looks good. :nice: You might wanna try and find some Capri tailights....... BTW. Is that orange on the upper part of the car just a bad pic or did you paint that? Either way, those colors seem to look good together. HD

    Differences

I believe '90 was the year the airbag wheel came and the 25yr dash emblem. Didn't the rear deck spoiler change in 91-92 or was that just the GT's? HD

    Got killed again tonight :(

You might want to compare the 255 weight to the 302 while you're going there. I'm guessing the 302 could be lighter....... BTW, even Ford stopped talking about the 255 real quick. From the ones I've seen, the milage was as bad (and worse) than the 302 and was gutless to boot but most guys fix...

    Biggest (Widest) Tires on Fox

Ya, I'm real happy with those sizes on the 15" rim stock 10 hole. No rubs yet. I'm guessing that with the 16" pony's if you want the same width 225F 245R you might want to use 50's instead to make up for the extra inch of rim. Also, with a differant offset from stock (after market wheel)...

    Biggest (Widest) Tires on Fox

They're on. 225/60 F and 245/60 R, Looks damn nice and no rubbing. I also don't slow down for corners, offramps.......no more which is a good thing for car that lacks in the get-back-up-to-speed area. ...maybe post some pics after a waxing. HD
