Losing My mind, need electrical help fast

Go to the Auto Parts Store, and ask for a Fuse Tap. It gives a second fused wire in a single fuse space. It has 2 fuse spaces and one red wire comming off it. It plugs into on of the exisiting fuse spaces.

    sound when my doors shut

The grey plastic bushings DO make a big difference. (Also fixed my alignment problem with the hatch) Its hard to believe, but i will second that. Took me a few days to find them on line and order them, THEN, found out that Murrays/Orileys right down the street carrys them in their "Help" parts...

NOt a motorhead, but want to try

Intake and Exaust, More air IN, and more air OUT, is always the best to start. Chiltons, Haynes, and most of the Hot rod/5.0 mags put out small block how to books and videos in some cases. The regular car manuals will have all the torque specs you should need while working. Its not real...

Losing My mind, need electrical help fast

Dont know how, but somehow, you got the power feed comeing from a hot, and not from a "Key On" line. Like he said, running through the fuses will at least give you a starting point.

    sound when my doors shut

If its clanging from a part thats come loose? Or just lack of thud sound? You can do all the above and more, New hinge Pins, grease everything, New moulding between door and body, sound deadening/insulation, new window wipes/moulding, window alignment bushings, or more. It all depends how...

    Recaro seats?

The seats bolt pattern will determine how hard it will be to match the factory mounts. Most big companys have adaptors, their just not normally cheap. Take some mesurements of the seat bolt placements and heights from floor. The mustang mounts are unique. The Ford Recaro one may fit...

    1989 Mustang Hatch Headliner Padding?

I know the Dynamat stuff. Its Just Sound Deadener isnt it? It might work up there, there is a couple small pieces like that up there as well from the factory. It keeps the roof noise down im sure. This stuff was for insulation i think. I will look around some more yet. I dont think...

Power Window Issues (searched for 2 days)

I wouldnt think it Could get that far out of alignment. It would be so loose you would know something was wrong, if it was. If i made a guess, its not getting enough power, or, its fighting the motor and needs oil. There could be a SMALL chance the gears are to tight and you need to bump...

Power Window Issues (searched for 2 days)

There is a Pass Over cable that connects from the wires from the drivers door (near the Kick Panel), it goes through/along the top of the dash, to the wires on the passengers side kick panel. Big 6 pin (might be 8) connectors on mine at both ends.

11.4 Sounds a little low, but i dont know for sure what it should be exactly. I got 11.6 last night, (i happened to be testing a few circuits yesterday) but i know my battery is a little low again. Double check the grounds, the main one for the door controls is under the door panel on the...

    1989 Mustang Hatch Headliner Padding?

Hello People, I wasnt sure where to put this (i know it sounds cliché) I had to take down my headliner today to reach some wiring. Unfortunately, the padding was Old, Rotted, and totally disintegrated into a powder, then made a REAL Mess on my New Carpet, GRRRRRRR!! Anyway...

    Battery Terminals

Summit's site wont load for me right now. Taylor stuff is normally a little more expencive, see if Summit has a generic one. IF, you have a good Radio/Audio Installer/Dealer near you, they may have large connectors as well. I have even seen Gold Plated ones that were not real expencive...
