Roush Fuel System Upgrade Info for 05+ SC's

For those looking to put down more power out of their 05+ blown Saleens, I have some info that may be of some help. Saleen is now offering a twin fuel pump system with wiring harness that will support up to around 600 rwhp. Evidentally, the folks over at JDM have a Saleen SC that has stock...

Roush 900 HP Saleen Hold on.....

That Saleen is here in Albuquerque and also built locally. The guy is on his 3rd motor in the last year or so. Tell you what, though, that car flys on our dragstrip and the strip is uneven and slippier than you could imagine. They also built an 03 Cobra that is putting down over 1100rwhp and...

    Roush Which Blower for 580-600whp

Your blower choice really depends on how you drive your car. Do you want endless top-end power? If so, go with a Vortech or a Novi. Keep in-mind you'll be missing some torque with a centi blower. If you want a car with some serious low-end grunt but falls off on the top-end, get a...

    Roush early christmas

On my '01, I was running at around 4.6-4.8 volts on a stock MAF using a Chicane 66mm pulley...get some diagnostice software and you'll never have to guess and spend $$$ in the wrong place. Initially, I bought a MAFterburner to tweak the MAF signal which was a huge mistake, but the diagnostic...

Marcus, Do you have an extra one for sale by any chance?? Seriously, though, I'm just not 100% ready to drop the coin now until I feel totally confident in my choices. I guess I'll just do some more poking and prodding... Thanks guys:nice:

Roush Time to Build the Motor

I am aware of many people being very successful with the set-up you mentioned above and that is exactly what I was initially considering. All of the ModMax stuff has ratings of above 1400 hp except for the pistons I am looking at which are rated at over 800 hp. Whith the setup you...

Roush Time to Build the Motor

I've made many phone calls and spent lots of time on various forums, and what I consistently heard was, "ModMax, ModMax." So, thus far, I have decided to go with: Pistons: ModMax 17cc Power Dished 3.582"(+.030) Connecting Rods: ModMax Forged H-Beam Crank: ModMax Pro Billet Crank...

    Roush 5 grand for upgrades...

Maintaining the center exhaust isn't a problem with aftermarket systems. I dropped an UPR O/R X-Pipe on mine with some Flowmasters (just changed back to Magnaflow), welded the center exhaust back to the backs of the mufflers, and have the actual exhaust dropping down right out of the mufflers...

Roush Car is being upgraded as I type...

Hi Marcus, My numbers are 558 rwhp & 507 rwtq (at this altitude, 5200 ft, & I'm at about 15 lbs/boost). I love the Vortech. It makes power for ever and ever and doesn't falls-off like roots-style blowers. The only problem that I have is the low torque numbers I'm putting down. I am...

Roush Local Shelby Mustang GT 500 - Puts Down Over 500rwhp & 535 RWTQ

Amazing that a car THAT heavy can run's in the low 12's stock. Geese! Just image if that car weighed anywhere near what the previous years coupes did? Now that would be kinda' cool.

    Roush Seen the Foose Mustangs?

I fully agree with you. I think, though, that the Saleens are heads-and-shoulders above those Foose's in the style department. The aluminum grills kinda of remind me of the new Chargers.

    Roush Seen the Foose Mustangs?

We got a few of those Foose Mustangs in at our local dealership last weekl. I would have a very hard time paying $47,000 for a stock GT with a paint job, springs, and some rims.....What do you think?? Link to Foose Mustangs http://www.uniqueperformance.com/Mustang-Coupe.aspx

Roush Local Shelby Mustang GT 500 - Puts Down Over 500rwhp & 535 RWTQ

A guy that works at the local Ford dealership here got one of the new Shelby Mustangs about a month ago and just did some light mods that gave him some pretty big numbers. He simply installed a new blower pulley and had a tune and ended-up with around 510 rwhp & 535 rwtq. Whew! !! I have to...
