Its tough to nail down, due to manufacturing variances...some have to mod, some dont. Its like the 'cut the driveshaft' issue, some do, some dont.
I didnt have to. But others do. Manufacturing tolerances in the 1960s werent as accurate as today.
Wrong. As I understand it, the DBS kit spindles have revised geometry that addresses the bumpsteer issue so common to the typical Grenada-swap in early Mustangs. That won't be solved with junkyard spindles.

I suggest you get a valve job done and port them yourself....its not that difficult to clean up the chambers and open up the ports a little with a grinder and a little patience. Do a search for DIY porting and you'll get some info.

The purpose of the Shelby mod is not to lower the tire height....its to change the camber curve (for the better). The 1/4" drop in ride height is just a consequence of the mod.
If you only wanted to lower the front, you could just cut your coils and be done with it.
