    Has anyone destroyed their engines running the KB tune yet? How is everyones engines holding up under the instant boost the KB provides? Just curious before I add a 9psi kit to my 01. I've heard the 01's have more compression and there could be issues with them holding up under boost.

    Are you nailing the throttle in 1st or 2nd or are you just giving it part throttle? You wont see full boost unless you have the throttle completly open, then boost will vary depending on engine rpm.

    I read in another post that their was a problem with the 01 heads and they wouldnt produce as much hp under boost as the later castings? Is this true, what is the problem and would I have the same problem on my 01 since it was a late run 01 (May 01 production date)?

    Brake Rotors

    I am getting ready to change out my brakes and rotors on my 01 GT and go to a slotted rotor instead of the stock type. I have never replaced the rotors on the newer stangs and was wondering how they come off. Will I need any special tools to remove them or do they just pull free from the hub?

    Just depends on your tune, if you dont have a switch chip or a duel program, it could slow you down under WOT. If you are tuned just for the juice it will richen your A/F and usually remove some timing under WOT. If your tuned for N/A your have a leaner A/F and more timing which = more HP...
