    Yellowing Ford headlights

    the problem is on any car with plastic lights, ford, chevy, dodge, import.... doesnt matter really. it is natural oxidation and happens at different rates in different climates. Looking out my window at an 03 beetle with yellow headlights now, it happens.

    I have also heard that engine braking (using the engine to slow the car) helps seat the rings. Keep it in one gear and speed up then slow down using just the engine.

    window motor

    any way to replace the window motor gears? I have a rear one in my vert that is working but the gears must be sheared off. Hate to spend 150 bucks on a whole new motor.

    95 GT 'vert....just plain old bad luck

    you can weld it. my 91 has that whole part behind the window welded together. It doesnt fit perfectly when closing the top but it works.
