    loose ground wire: where should it be??

    when i did my head/cam swap, i must have unhooked this ground from something. i just found it the other day, and i don't know where it belongs. one end is fixed to the fender in the first pic. the other end is not where it is supposed to be. anyone know where this should go or feel like...

    the spring side is exposed to the coolant even when the t-stat is closed. that's how it works. therefore, the spring should be on the block side of the t-stat housing.

    that's not true in my case at least. i did what Stangfreak95 said two years ago, and i've had my battery disconnected countless times since then. i haven't thrown the code for egr since day one. the pin in question is sticking out of the plastic piece on the left of the following picture...

    nice numbers! i've got a very similar setup, and i'd be really happy if i had the same results at the dyno and track. my car's running great now without a tweecer. i can't wait to get it on the dyno a little later this summer!

    that's not true. the pulley is bigger, thus it spins more slowly (i.e., it is underdriven compared to stock). no flame, just wanted to clear that up.

    dunno about jacking. how much did the shop charge to weld them? i plan to order the same subframes this summer...i don't have the cash now, but shoot me a pm when the come in and i might be able to take them off your hands...

    Any advantage to 6200 rpm shifts?

    it's an error tolerance issue, so you can't really know for sure how much it's off unless you compare it directly with an accurate tach. i might be off a little, it might be off a lot, or it might be right on. :shrug: on the other hand, considering it shifts through the other gears around...

    EGR blockoff plate: UPDATE

    i don't know how much the wazee piece cost you, but a 351 cleveland fuel pump block off plate fits perfectly. i got one at napa for a few bucks, and it worked perfectly.
