    I would think twice about mouting the MSD in the car. It messes with your stereo sound by interfering with the RCA's and power wires. If its an all out race car or you don't care about stereos, by all means do it. But if you have a $2000 stereo and all you hear is "bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"...

    For the money with stock intake/heads etc, a mass air meter is the best, that of course you don't have gears yet. Search the classifieds, you can find a C&L cheap.

    Spending money elsewhere would be better if the intake is stock. As for the spacer, if you are talking about the EGR plate then yes it has to be changed to the diameter of the T/B.

    I had a 10" Infinity Kappa in a .6 sealed box. Was small and light (maybe 20#s). With a 360 watt JBL amp, sounded better in my hatch then my friend with a GT's 2 10's. Or a bazooka tube with a self-contained amp would be an easy install and add some bass.

    If they are your cats you could try some cataytic converter cleaner from the auto parts store for around $7. I put a bottle in my DD and picked up ~1-2 mpg. Its cheaper than a new mid pipe.

    I have the 76 mm C&L and it made for a noticeable HP gain on my relatively stock 5.0. I just bought the 24# calibration tube for the meter for my HCI and 24# injector combo.
