    Same thing happened to me....I was choosing between a clean and low mile azure blue mach with a few goodies bolted on it but the dealer tried to play games with me. I picked up the '05 for less and got a car that is in better shape for it.

    The badges are oem replacements for the '67s, which means there is no double sided tape and the emblems have four tabs that you will need to remove. The emblems are metal, but the tabs break off with pliers pretty easily. Getting those GT emblems off is no picnic either....

    I think I need to follow suit! As far as the "I can make SLP-like noises by just hacking up the exhaust pipe" comments I'll say this. I don't care. So what if it's cheaper, my car is worth it to me to have something purpose built and can be switched back to stock in less than 15 minutes.

    I have a set of SLP LMs on mu automatic and I don't have any drone at all. In fact inside the car at idle they're quieter than the Borla Stingers and seem only slightly louder than stock. at WOT it's a different story. They get loud then, lol....But it sounds great....

    I never get involved with the groups. In fact I've never spoken to any of them, I just go to see the cars with my son. In SVTOA, that sort of stuff doesn't happen. Our only problem is participation is lacking, mostly because people associate SVT with being something other than Ford.
