    Years of interchange on the 2.3

    The 2.3 in my 80' has a spun rod bearing/god knows what else.. Anyway i am wanting to do a 5.0 swap but right now i need somthing for mileage and need to know what years of 2.3's from what vehicles will swap into my 80' ??

    80' Notchback 5.0 swap questions??

    I just aquired a 1980 Notchback for practicly nothing. It has 40k on it a 2.3/4speed the 2.3 sounds like it has a spun rod bearing but i had drove the car before it started knocking and it drove perferctly.. Somone has already put 5.0 springs on the front and it has a new rack and pinion. No...
