    I have Chiltons manual and it works great. Most local autoparts stores should carry them. Its not really worth spending the money on a shop manual. .

    Throw it on a dyno and see how much power she makes. It also makes it easier to dial in the carb on the dyno with a wideband.

    do not use synthetic oil

    Ive run mobile1 in my 5.0 for the past 8 years and 130,000 hard miles and the stuff is awsum. Ive never had a problem with the oil and i now use it in all my cars.

    Ive had them all and it comes down to prefrence. My favorite is the hurst, i couldnt stant the tri axe.

    It sounds to me like you have a small vacume leak. I had one that caused my idle to jump and it took me a few weeks to finally find a cracked hose.

    Long tubes all the way. They are harder to install but its well worth it.

    Throw it on a dyno, you might also want to check and see what gears are in the rear. Alot of 99-01cobras run 4.10-4.30 gears.

    4:30s with stickys and stock axles, thats awsum. I had 355s and my hole rear was busted up with dragradials on my mach.

    Midpipe install.

    I have the SLP pipe with removable cats. once every thing was together i tightened it up. Once it is all done start the car up while on jackstands to make sure there are no leaks. Mine leaked from the driverside cat, and i had to jack it up again and retighten everything.

    Tire Sizes

    The best rain tire i have ever used is the Toyo T1-S. I have them in my 03 mach1 and they are awsum. When my tires wear out on my 66 i am gong to get a set for it also. They make them in in both a 205/15 and a 225/15 http://mach1review.com/products_tires_toyo.html

    My buddy has a simular setup in his 65 mustang. It made 365rwhp with a carb. The engine was dynotuned on an engine dyno.

    I dont know if the VRS catted X pipe will pass smog. I had one on my 95gt and it failed CA smog. I put the stock one back on and it passed with flying colors.

    Stock Cam Guroo's,,need some advice

    When building a motor hhe heads/intake/cam should be matched. With the stock cam the motor should make more power up top, but the stock cam is really hurting the performance of the engine.

    I agree, unless you switch to a weight jacker or an adjustable units the steeda will work just as good as the MM.

    I really liked the Toyo proxy T1-S. It is a great tire that does really well for cornering, drag, and wet weather. The T1-S also has a good tread life. For dry weather i recomend Nitto 555R tires or Toyo RA-1s. They will only last around 10k miles though.
