K&N drop in filter, or Densecharger CAI?

if you like the looks of a CAI, then get it, if you don't really care then get the K&N and save ~20 minutes of install and a little cash. If you want a good looking CAI for cheap, check out the JLT CAI. He can paint it to match your car (looks great in Sonic Blue btw) and it's been dyno...

    Has anyone ordered from NOPI????

I like their show "nopi tuner vision" simply because they usually have half naked girls on it :D They're a big company and should be just fine, the product is the same it's just who the middle man is usually.

A few things wrong with my brand new 04 GT..

next time something runs out in front of your car, good luck with that threshold braking, I'm content to know when I slam on the breaks it's not going to skid.

    folded chin spoiler

mine from mustangtuning came folded, crappy package as a whole, but anyway I just used a hairdryer on it and it straightened out most of the way. When it's mounted it's pretty tight and will form like it should pretty quickly.

    Exhaust volume decibel ratings

acually some came with 4 cats and 2 small pre-cats right up next to the manifolds so they would light off quicker to help pass on cold start emissions testing.

    Quick and Easy Wash

trying to fit a 98 K&N FIPK onto my 01

I don't think your '01 will use the very top sensor bung, and you may need to make a longer hose for the larger of the two. The skinny semi-hard line you can eliminate completely with a breather filter which is what I'll do pretty soon, then block up the middle bung too.

    Hissing when accelerating

I'm pretty sure this is an intake 'problem' When I installed my CAI last night, I took it around for a while and the hiss was noticeably louder but still under the same circumstances.

Removal of Stock H Pipe-Header Bolt Problem

Rem oil or something like that probably would, I wouldn't use Hoppes #9 though. Be very careful that it's cooled down, all that stuff is very flammable.

Removal of Stock H Pipe-Header Bolt Problem

WD-40 really isn't very good for breaking bolts loose. Go to a gun shop, get a bottle of this stuff called "Break-Free" it's made to remove lead fouling and powder residue from guns but it works on stuck bolts great :nice:
