    10.5 rims on rear of fox

    I currently run the 10" Welds w/BF Goodrich T/A's in the 295 size. It fits, but it's tight. Slight rubbing when not taking a bump square with the rear end.

    I just put the Holley Systemax kit on my 87 (302, not stroked.) I am running the F cam w/24lb injectors. Car runs ok, dyno'd at 300hp/308tq. The only thing you have to remember is that any, if not all, aftermarket H/C/I kits will move plenty more air than what a normal bore 302 can move. The...

    Tired of sloppy steering, but what's the fix?

    Same problem in my 87 hatch. I do have a new manual rack, tie rod ends and what not. checked into it and the problem is the worn out shaft/bearing (like mentioned above) inside the car. My problem isn't as bad as 4", more like 2", but it is a pain in the butt doing all that steering to keep...

    windage tray in the way of dipstick

    I did the same thing when I put mine on. I just capped the dipstick. I know there's oil in the car. Even tried grinding down the width of the stick itself,,no dice.

    TFS stage 1 cam, anyone have this?

    I have the FR "F" cam, but I have heard in person, and rode in an 87 ford ranger w/a 5.0 that had that cam. Pulls strong and the idle was lopey, but not enuff to cause any issues. I think you will like it very much.

    Well, you popped your own track cherry. Don't be to hard on yourself, at least you're trying and asking for advice. Three words for ya: practice, practice, and more practice. There are alot of variables to deal with (weather, track conditions) when going to the track. Fiddle w/tire pressure...

    You would think w/Sparco's and the $$$ you paid for them that you wouldn't have a problem. I have the Corbeau Forza's (non reclineable) and I bought the mounting brackets at same time. Easy cheesy, bolt n go. Good luck.
