    Thanks for the replies, I had to run it to move it to a place I could let it sit until I got a chance to work on it. I kept the RPMS low and listened for any "clacking" or ticking before proceding...Is PTV contact possible here? I was replacing my comps with PI cams(need the $$) I just noticed...

    Well it tries to run, but it seems like it's running on about 4 cylinders. It misses real bad, although it sounds like some of the cylinders are firing correctly.

    Typically you can just do a nice ball-hone on it and you will be fine. You won't remove much if any material, at least to matter. To build the motor you have you will have to take it out of the car, have a machine shop do all the work for you as far as boring and balancing, pay for all the new gaskets, the labor for this, then putting this motor back in.
