    Maximum Motorsports delivers!

Looks really nice! The install is pretty straight forward. Some of the bolts can be tough to get off but nothing some heat can't take care of. Did you get braided brake hoses with the kit? Have fun and take pics!

Just installed "Kustom" Pro Motion clutch kit thanks Killercanary for advice

Glad it worked out for you. My King Cobra has also been slipping since the first pass on slicks. Thats kind of why i put it in, slipping keeps the t5 together. I too would like a clutch that hits a little harder though. Good to know there are alternatives. Good Luck!!

Removing riveted bracket under console for carpet install?

I decided to cut the carpet as least as possible and maneuver it around the bracket. As I pulled on the bracket barely, it pulled out the rivets. At least the bracket is out of the way for now. Now I just have to fasten it somehow when I'm done. The carpet is coming around nicely. I just...

Removing riveted bracket under console for carpet install?

I'm installling new carpet today and the old grey is just about ready to come out. The only thing holding me up is the metal bracket under the rear of the console. It is over the carpeting and has rivets holding it down. Am I supposed to drill the rivets and find another way to hold...

Summit Sport Seats-My Review with Pics

Thats good you got them installed without too much trouble. Having the install being a PITA was keeping me from getting aftermarket seats. The seats look very good. I got Arizen seats for Christmas from the woman. They're the all black leather version. They haven't arrived yet however. I...

Yes, the interia switch would cut the fuel.

    Relocating battery to trunk

The cut off switch would be 100% unnecessary in a street only car. The reason they are required @ the track is for a track employee to kill all power to the car in case of an accident, which stops the fuel pump and keeps you from:flame: burning alive.

Think of the alt and bat as one item. They are both used to charge and power the distribution (fuse) box. When the switch is in the off position the wire to the fuse box is completely isolated receiving no power. No power means the coil can't fire, fuel pump can't run, car stops dead etc.

both diagrams would kill the car exactly the same way. It doesn't matter which way you do it.

    Relocating battery to trunk

That would work fine. You can combine the alt and bat wires before the switch. I have 3 cables running running to my switch like your diagram but my switch is mounted to my box so it's not really much extra wire. With your setup running to the license plate I can see where there would be...

    Relocating battery to trunk

Oh, and I used a 150 amp fuse for the alt. wire. There's a pic of it on the link a few posts up. I got it from West Marine. Making your own smaller box is a good idea because most of the batt. boxes out there are huge. Be sure to post pics when done!

    Relocating battery to trunk

After looking at your "quick half ass diagram", I see a problem. The cutoff switch will not kill power to the car. Current will travel from the Alt to the starter and to the dist. box. Run a separate line (i used 2 gauge) from the Alt to the cutoff + side in your diagram. This way the...

    Relocating battery to trunk

Actually, there is an inline fuse in the stock setup. It is between the Alt and the fuse box wire in the form of a fusible link. Putting one on the alt wire IS a good idea.
