    You can port it to match. No problems there. I have to question the effort involved. If you're on a crazy low budget....like I am, look around and find an Explorer intake. They can be found for around a hundred bucks, and are a great deal better than stock. The Explorer intake will flow as well...

    Mine came as black plastic from the factory. I wet sanded them with 800 to 2000 grit, then polished them. Glossy plastic, no paint to chip.

    Then use a 65mm or open the Cobra upper up a little and use a 70mm.

    I do agree with this. If you're patient on parts, grab the aluminum heads first. Good power, much lighter, and you can always upgrade the throttlebody, intake and whatever another time and the hardest most expensive part will already be covered.
