    Wow man, that is a lot at once. Unplug the water pump and see if the battery cable still gets warm. You must have a short somewhere for that to happen.

    Not sure if this will help you but I've used AFS 18x10.5's with Toyo Proxes 295/35/18's. This was before my car was lowered and the bolt was as close as can get but I did not ever have it rub and put at least 15,000 miles on that setup.

    Yep, same exact situation happened on my stock IRS. It was either like that from the factory or after the dealer did some service work. $60?! I guess that is what you get for buying it from Ford instead of the aftermarket ;)

    Yes, check the axle nut on both sides, also check to make sure the bearing is good. I've heard multiple 99's having wheel bearing failure on the drivers side (including mine!).

    I only noticed mine after driving over 10 miles. Sorry I don't have the procedure handy to give to you. I remember it involves holding one wheel and seeing how much torque resistence there is before the other wheel will spin.

    Sounds exactly like what I felt when my differential clutch packs needed replacement. Do you have to drive over 10 miles for it to occur? There is a procedure to test the clutch packs out.
