P0161 Heated O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2, Sensor 2)
My friend just got this code on his Subaru WRX. He had bad wiring that caused it. It's the rear o2. If it was the front your...
Sorry for hijacking Gray02GT. These are tire questions though :)
UM: bummer (315's wont fit)...
How do you know the 315's won't fit? I ask because I heard before (forgot where) that AFS wheels have extra backspacing and I was dreaming the 315's would fit without a spacer. I'm not...
I voted other. How do you feel about replacing your stock exhaust? A new midpipe and catback should have noticable gains.
I'd go for performance mods over comfort myself. That is until I get 500 or more ponies :)
Daymn. I've got AFS 03 Cobra replica's in 18x10.5. I'm going to be getting some Goodyear GS-D3's soon. I'd love to get 315/35-18's but I'm afraid they'll rub.
If you get 315/35-17's for your 17's let me know how they fit. I'm going to end up getting 285/35-18's unless I know for sure...
What do you mean by advance the idle throttle, you talking about the screw? Hopefully I'm not misleading as I just posted this in another thread (I know it apply's to my car)...
You want your TPS voltage to be .98 volts with the key on and motor off.
You should check your key on, ignition off TPS voltage.
Carl & everyone you should not have to adjust your idle screw if your computer/tps/iac is working correctly. Going from memory I remember setting my TPS at .98x volts with key ON and motor not running. You should then able able to...
lube job (doors, ujoints ect, see service manual). trans fluid change if it hasn't been done. getting close to rear diff fluid change interval (100k miles). also check all suspension, brake, electrical and cooling components
I've got MIL eliminators on my truck (spliced two months ago) and car (connector over 1 yr ago).
Both have worked flawlessly by preventing my check engine light po420 code. Super easy to install and a lot cheaper than a chip.
huh, doesn't make sense to be. two cars with the config your saying at the same power would have the same sensitivity to what you've described.
that's my opinion :D
destroying my old tires before mounting new drag radials
I've got a couple video's of me smoking a set of tires before I replaced them. I like the videos tell me what you think :). Too much smoke on the first round and that about killed the tires. I think I could leave two marks for a...
I noticed you and 97cobra281 both said N/A is safer and lasts longer. With the proper setup and tune for both configurations how is N/A more durable and safer? The stock setup of the blown Cobra's is a very safe and durable configuration.
edit... btw awesome setup lafear01, I'm impressed...
heheh, that's great. sounds like me at the ford dealer talking with my service guy. i got lucky my service guy was great. i didn't bull'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me' him though. one way or another whenever my car has problems is going to get fixed. if the dealer didn't do it then i...
Sounds more likely than PCV; I only hear that noise at idle.
Spark knock should cause a check engine light, has that ever been on? I'd change the fuel filter too, maybe you just got a bad tank.
PCV noise won't show up. It is normal. To see if this is the noise do this:
While car is running and hood is up:
pull the PCV valve off the drivers side head
plug PCV with your finger
does the noise go away?
I'm not sure what you mean? Nothing really happens it just isn't as good as full synth in my opinion. Doesn't hurt anything to mix was all I was pointing out.
I had this problem frequently in my car when I had the T45 still. It was really irritating and didn't go away until I got a rebuild (THX Ford warranty!).
I was always able to work mine out of reverse with some work. I'm trying to remember exact what I did. It was something along these...
N/A Cobra: I think you were way overcharged.
mikey99cobra: Were those Ford Racing 4.56's? Did they fit without any issues? I'm lookin at getting 4.56's whenever I can come up with the cash.
