    ^^^ things that jump to mind. bolts backed out on carrier support Bearings went south FAST Ring gear snapped. diff went south although usually the car won't move when that happens c-clip poped off although usually an axle will exit the car.

    You'll want to loosen the screws for the neck. Don't forget the lil one on the tank itself to the filler. then slowly drop it and slide the filler out. It's best to have the filler neck as loose as possible making it easier to put it all back together. BTW good luck, hope you don't have...
