    FYUI, a 275 is a lot wider than a 245. It's 10.8 inches vs. 9.6 inches. IOW, over an inch difference. And a 245 is pretty much the widest you can fit on an 8" wheel. You might be able to find a shop to mount a 275 on an 8" wheel, but that's just dumb. You really want at least a 9" wheel...

    If they are factory replacement pads they're fine. Your rotor is thinner so it takes more pedal travel to apply the same pressure. Mine were the same way after turning the rotor. Replacing the rotor gave me back the brakes the car came with.
