    ACS Racing in Hanover, MA

I live nearby, Chris seems cool. It would be nice to go to such a close dyno. HOWEVER, I cant beat where I am going now ($50 for a full hour of runs including A/F) ACS - I warned people about them and the burnt one of my plug wires while I was on their dyno. They pushed it against the header...

Some real competition for the Cobra

I understand what your saying. Everyone cried wolf about the cobra being blown when it came out, so your poking fun in the same way. No confusion here. As far as numbers, I dont think you'll be disappointed, but we'll wait and see anyway.

Did you ever consider a used Vette?

The stiff ride doesnt seem so stiff to me, but yes it is damn low to the ground. I really think you need to take a ride though if you havent been in one. Well worth it. Interior noise is not loud IMO. GM trannies are somewhat noisey i guess, maybe thats why I am used to it  I wasnt...

Some Clarification: '03 Mach 1 vs '01 Cobra

Before 6800rpm the Mach1 makes more power/torque the whole way! The blue curve is higher than the red curve!!!!!!! Your looking at a little spike at the end. Area under the curve is the most important. Mach1 wins flatout.

Ford GT dyno numbers are in !

Two points: 1. If you own a viper than you can pay for the gas. 2. All viper owner's will use the highest octane available (91 in Cali, and 93 everywhere else). 93 octane is easily capable of being used with 11.1 CR. I am running 10.5:1 stock and I have no problems with 93 octane with my...

Ford GT dyno numbers are in !

I'll believe it when I see it on a dyno. 124mph traps speed is what they were getting. Were they detuned? Who knows. I would be hard pressed to belive the production 565rwhp numbers.

Did you ever consider a used Vette?

Some comments for you from someone that knows alittle about the C5's and have driven one many times (my dad owns a 99 C5 M6): 1. Electrical issues - Yes (my dads battery goes dead if it sits for 3 weeks without starting) 2. Leaking diff - Nope 3. Rocking seats - Nope 4. Piston slap - Nope...

Some Clarification: '03 Mach 1 vs '01 Cobra

From what I have seen, the mach1 and 01 cobra have similar powerbands, but the mach just makes more rwhp/rwtq stock.

Some real competition for the Cobra

A powerplant in a $55k pony car that was limited in production. I am sure yellow means a normal production vehicle, not one that made 250 or so. I am all for the blower on both cars. As long they hold and are easily moddable like the cobra.

    Roush Dyno Numbers

Thanks. I am currently installing a Vortech S Trim 6psi, looking to make similar numbers as you (470-480rwhp). Yours must pull like a bat out of heLL.

Some real competition for the Cobra

It should eat a stock cobra based upon how an LS1 reacts to boost. 6-8psi should be an easy 430-440rwhp. The GTO weighs in similar (slightly heavier) to the Cobra, but with the GTO's 6 speed it should move.

Mach 1 Stock Mach 1 Vs stock LS1

I didnt say anything about stock Mach1's or any stock cars. I wont waste my gas if they are too slow, unless they talk smack.

Mach 1 Stock Mach 1 Vs stock LS1

I guess you think your witty or something? If you werent the 10,000 person to joke about that then you would be. Oh well, I guess I'll just stick to picking on Mach 1's with my old LT1.

    JTL "RAI" Results.numbers within

Those are some low hp/tq numbers, even for a mustang dyno! I know a guy with the same LT1 cam/heads as me, but he has auto and he put down 340rwhp on a Mustang dyno and I put down 383rwhp on a dynojet. I figure 20rwhp more for me due to having an M6, and then that would leave 20rwhp or so...

Can a Trans Am be that fast stock?

Your probably making the same rwhp with less rwtq (with all your mods) then the LS1 w/catback. I have seen several LS1 auto fbodies dyno 330-345rwhp with nothing more than intake and exhaust (this is on an auto ). Around here, stock auto Ls1's are trapping 104-105's easy and M6's trap 106-109mph...

Can a Trans Am be that fast stock?

Nitrous will do that... If you pulled N/A, then he wasnt racing. Plain and simple.

Can a Trans Am be that fast stock?

 :rlaugh: You trap 107 and you call fbodies slow? Most stock LS1's around here trap what you trap.
