    What brand Mustang II?

I started disliking Hiedts when they told me there was no way a MII kit could be made for a Classic mustang, then made one a few years later.

    Lets talk about Master-Cylinders

I am using a '96 Windstar MC and it works great. It had a good size bore, and a nice price at any auto parts store.

I think that is a great find... When I resume work on mine I think will make an attempt at getting that tank in there.

anyone interested in a new watts link and a 3 or 4 link in here

Watts links are cooo. but the drawback of a panhard is only a very small side to side movement. The advantage is that it is simpler. Take your pick.

    69-70 Sheetmetal

I think I will see how well I can straighten out what I have and maybe get by with patch panels for the lower quarter. I have all winter...

    69-70 Sheetmetal

So the hidden stuff like trunk floors is good but the 1/4 panel is junk? Nice.

    69-70 Sheetmetal

Has anyone here used any of the aftermarket sheetmetal for a 69-70? I am looking at at least fenders and a rear 1/4, and maybe even door shells. I am in Alaska so shipping back bad parts can be spendy so I am looking for info on how fitment and general quality was.

    Ford Expolore rear end??

Yep, 4" offset is quite a bit, especially since the pinion is higher.

    Ford Expolore rear end??

The Explorer has leafs, but the perches need moved. I had one in my '70 for awhile but the pinion hit the floorboards too much!

    Ford Expolore rear end??

The explorer axle is wider than your '67 and the yoke is offset and may have floorboard clearance issues.

    Which EFI option?

I also have had both. There is almost no difference off idle.

    Which EFI option?

In theory yes, but in practice it won't make that much difference, especially compared to the carb it is replacing. Kind of like batch fire vs sequential. Sequential really only helps pass emissions testing.

Megasquirt - build your own EFI system.

I had a MS from the first batch, but never built it then sold it. I think the twEECer is a good way to go if you already have a functioning EEC setup working. Why redo everything...

A Real Mustang II Suspension on a 65

That is the best way to do it. For calipers, you need a mid size GM. I think I told ther parts guy it was a Monte Carlo or Camaro.

A Real Mustang II Suspension on a 65

I used just the crossmember. The '68 Mustang spindles won't work.

A Real Mustang II Suspension on a 65

I did that. It worked. Your car is narrower than my '70 and would work better. You will need drop spindles though. And strut rods for the lower arm.

What's the best way to roll the fenders?

It is an old school, and effective way to do it.

    best place for mustang II?

Mine is a '70, and thus wider, so my rack is extended on the passenger side, so the whol unit is shift to teh drivers side. My mounts both perpendicular. I used 2x2 with the tops cut to make an upsode down V. The stock motor mounts bolt through a tube welded at the top of the V. Isn't it...

    best place for mustang II?

I should say that even though I think the Hiedts setup is not the strongest out there, that doesn't mean it isn't plenty strong. Most factory stuff is just sheetmetal bent and spot welded...
