    On old carbs that have been sitting I like to take them aprt ,clean them out and replace the gaskets. More of a cleanoutm than a rebuild, but it helps. I say try that.

    The '69 is no more unique than the '70. You are over rating the minor body changes. What about the '70 only brakes?

    Tube chassis vs. stock frame

    I used 2x3 for the front subframe, then 2x2 to the rear. I stil have the stock rear subframe for now. Even the 2x2 made an impressive difference. My doors close better now!

    While you are in there you might consider welding up the seems in the frame. The factory spotwelds don't make for a rigid setup...

    It looks like the insurance is going to fix my car. I need to know where I can get good fenders, and a rear 1/4. i would like good stuff, not the ill fitting junk I have heard stories about. Any suggestions? Thanks
