    Progress Thread 94 Vert Ressurection

looking good so far. as far as suggestions for power, you need to tell us what you want first. if your looking for just a mild H/C/I, then get a trickflow top end kit and call it done, but if you want to go big power then budget is a concern. let us know what your after then we can help.

What Would It Take For 800 Horsies

this right here. i think swapping out the heads and getting a larger blower will get you there if not really darn close. I think ultimately you could do it with just boosting it to all hell, but the heads will make it easier.

that lighting really makes the car look orange. maybe it's just the angle, but it looks like the back should come down a hair more to match the front.

looking good so far. nice choice of suspension parts to get it handling pretty solid. thoughts on a 99-01 cobra bumper? those are the best looking bumpers for the mach 1s

    She's Gone...

sucks but at least you moved in the right direction. although the best plan would have been to gut the shelby and put it all into the 95....

    16x8 With +15 Offset?

those are really small wheels. it shouldn't look too sunken in with +15mm. i would say a 245/55 would probably be your best fit in there.

Engine Making Sure I'm Not Missing Anything

kind of a loaded question since there is always tons of stuff you CAN do, but not necessarily have to. you could replace your rear main seal and oil pan gasket since the engine is out. they are common leak points. what rockers are you going to use? make sure you have a power steering pulley...

Wire tuck...advice, tips, possible write ups?

just label everything as your pulling if off. especially if you're re-doing the wire loom. otherwise, just start tearing into it.

    Pusher fan for radiator

an aluminum rad is going to work better than additional fans. and as stated, the stock gauge isn't worth a china's sweatshop salary. get a better way to measure before saying the engine is overheating. most of us are still using the stock fan without problems.

I think i may have been burned. Help!

    1. like venom said, doesn't mean the TOB is new, but make sure it is adjusted properly. invest in a quadrant/ FWA / cable first off. 2. start with a regular tune up stuff. who knows when it was last done. clean out the maf, plugs, wires, fluids, etc. 3. cheap and good seldom go hand in hand...

Buying a 95 Cobra what to look for

my thoughts are it's not worth paying any premium for a 94-95 cobra since your not getting anything that won't be changed out later for more power. the only exterior difference is the front bumper and spoiler. if you want to play with a 4.6 again, a cobra is a good choice. they can be made...

    Check out this time capsule

i guess that's cool....personally the first thing i would do would be drive it home and beat the living hell out of it. that car was meant to be a trackbitch, not a garage queen.

Buying a 95 Cobra what to look for

nothing special being a cobra. check the usual 5.0 areas. the rubber on the harmonic balancer is a common one for example.

    fr500 rims on a stock 95

they fit fine. i have 18x9 w/ 265/35 on the front and 18x10 w/ 305/35's on the back. lowered about an inch. I had mickey thompson's on the back and they fit without any issues. the nitto nt555r's that i have on there now wouldn't fit without the quad shocks being removed. once they were...
