    Autocross

Sweet. That about sums it up. Oh wait... you want more detail? Okay, fine... :) Yes, it was a blast. I was nervous before the first run because I wasn't sure how the car would react. And with all the things that I've wrenched on the car it made me wonder how good of a job I did...

    Autocross

Well.... I've got the subframes. The tower brace kit. 5leaf reverse eye rear springs. 620 front coils. New upper control arms. No rear sway bar. 1-1/8 front sway bar. 235-45 up front... 275-40 in back for rubber. Shocks... no clue.

    Autocross

Maybe I should clarify. I've autocrossed before. Not alot... but I've got around 60 runs. Just none on my 67'. I was wondering if the car had any tendencies. No big deal I guess as that every car has a personality. I just thought I'd bring the subject up.

    PhotoChop a Color?

I'm bored.... Could someone chop my car with a white paint job... possibly the correct blue stripes down the middle? Oh.. and how about making the spokes on my wheels white too!!! Very big thanks... :)

    Aftermarket wheels

You know... you bring up an interesting point. The painting of the spokes. I was at the weekly McDonalds car show last night with the family and mentioned it to a bud of mine about painting the spokes. He basically thought I was a "***" for thinking of that. I saw awhile ago a car that had...

Finally! Fastback is out of the paint shop & flamed!

The butt might be sagging. But look at the nice rack on the very front of the hood in the middle!!!!

    Engine Rebuild

Well if it moved like a big block Chevelle.... I certainly wouldn't be autocrossing. My truck handles better turning than that thing did.

    Engine Rebuild

    It should be fine.

    Engine Rebuild

Well my best chance for getting funds for a stroked 351 lies in my handshake with a bud of mine who has lottery tickets. :) I really don't see the wife letting me drop 7k on a turn key monster. I'm going to have to go at this in pieces. I like the idea of the AFR's because the could be...

    Engine Rebuild

I'd have to spend another 10G to keep up with the Chevelle. I know this. That wasn't my thinking though. His car is built for a different purpose. But dang if it wouldn't be nice to go faster for awhile!!!!! Reallity says you guys are right.... bummer though... :) What if I just...

    Engine Rebuild

Hello people... long time no post. The good news is that I'm still wrenching on my 67. The bad news is that I'm out of money. A common occurence amongst us I'm sure. Since I last posted I have been able to make some changes. Most notably Baer discs on all corners. I rebuilt the 8" with a...

    Smiley education

I'd like to send some to friends via email. But I keep getting invalid errors. Is there a setting that needs to be clicked for these little buggers to work? We're Microsoft Outlook. thanks.

Drop Springs + UCA Drop = still too high. any recommendations before I cut my coils?

I'd recommend driving the car for about a week or so and truly let it settle in before cutting more. Be patient and you'll be better off... :)

Drop Springs + UCA Drop = still too high. any recommendations before I cut my coils?

It does it's job wherever it's put in the rear line. I just did not like my mounting options available in the engine compartment. So instead of hacking it in there... I opted for the easy location.

Drop Springs + UCA Drop = still too high. any recommendations before I cut my coils?

Yes, my insulators are installed. The valve install is nothing special. Just cut the line and screwd it to the floor pan back there. It's only temporary until I redo the whole system.
