    There's no way I'll have 4-wheel drums. I drove those once when I was a kid. Manual brakes are bad enough. I won't have any problem putting larger brakes on when the time comes. I still don't know which rear it has. I'll be going back over tomorrow maybe so I'll try and check it out then...

    Seems that since I am going to rebuild entire car, then might as well go with V8. I'm not sure about the brakes, but if need be, I'll just swap in larger when the time comes. Same with springs. One nice thing about larger brakes is that you can get more grabbing power with less effort...

    Floor pans and hobby welder

    Interesting thread. I'm looking to get a welder to do my 69, but I've heard that gas MIG is the way to go. I don't doubt that, but the reason is because the gas keeps the weld from flash rusting. I've been told that stick welding will leave slag in the weld which can rust from the inside out...

    250 for sale I've just picked up a 1969 Mustang with a 250 but I'm going to buy a V8. I really want to sell the 250 to help offset the cost of rebuilding the V8. The 250 does need to be rebuilt, but it runs ok. It is a bit fumey, but starts right up and goes down the road. I have a line...
