    too lean at idle for boosted combo. set afr at 13.5 at idle and 14.5 while cruising. u get no heat dissapation at idle, that's why ect is 220, while cruising u can run 14.5 afr due to air flow to help control temp.

    dump the factory fan and install a flex-a-lite electric fan. it comes with its own temp sensor that is adjustable per a knob so it will come on however u set it plus it has one wire that u splice into your a/c compressor wire that makes the fan come on with yuor a/c

    you can do the swap from an aode to an aod or a manual trans with no problems at all. swapped my aode to an aod and the only reason i left the factory pcm hooked up is so my gauges will work. since you're going carbed, that would be the only reason you would leave the computer hooked up.

    sounds like a bad ground for the fan or relay. they may run during the self test, but that only cycles it for a short second at low amperage.

    sounds to me like you got a vacuum leak. under hard throttle, manifold vacuum goes away and under decel, manifold vacuum increases. the increase in vacuum under decel can bog your car down and a small vacuum leak will make it run lean under part throttle causing your misfires and bucking. rpm at...

    what you guys are saying makes a lot of sense. hopefully i'll have time this weekend to find my cam card and check it - overlap-. it's a custom grind that someone else recommended. by the way, i'm running a FAST XFI system that runs off of speed density, so no maf sensor.

    good deal! but, do you know how much weight you could save by going with a rear seat delete kit and kirkley aluminum racing seats. i dropped 175 lbs and mine were vinyl gt seats. besides, the rear seats never get used anyway. for that price it's a good deal.

    plugs ngk #9 are gapped at 28, running msd programmable digital 7. haven't checked on what my valve overlap is yet, kinda didn't think about. got 1 7/8 kooks long tubes with 3" exhaust.
