    Alot of buyers don't want to pay for engine mods. I even stay clear of Cobras with blowers already on them. You just don't know what it looks like "inside".

    No way my Grand Prix is lighter than my Cobra. Yeh the engine is a 6 instead of a 8, but the Prix is a four door and about a foot longer.

    Densecharger - it's black and matches the other factory parts and is made out of PVC so it does not heat up the air like a chromed piece does.

    Then how in the world do we get rid of the "sponginess" of older brake systems? My 04 Grandprix GT feels like it will stop twice as fast as my Cobra and it's a four door with smaller discs! :bang:

    Don't do cross drilled unless you just really like the looks. They weaken the rotor and will crack under high stress.

    That's really not very good considering the new '05 runs mid 13's bone stock n/a'd. I saw an '03 Cobra vert run 12.92 at a local track last Friday night. I was expecting mid to high 12's from it.

    Could it be that the stock control arms apply more pressure on the inside of the wheel that is wider??? That may be way out there, but I would contact Steeda just to see what they say.

    I think we all assumed that you drive a 5.0 due to the picture next to your title. I really would not begin to know what to do on one of these 32valve 4.6 mod engines. A pushrod 302 is a little simpler than a dual overhead cam modular engine. Good luck to you. Let us know how it goes.

    I am not for sure, but I think there are several differences. The 96-98s have two distributors whereas the 99 and up have the coil on plug set up. I also think there is a difference in the entire upper intake on these years.
