    Ford C Springs "Need your experience"

    I've had C springs for a few years now.... They are good springs, no complaints here. I would suggest cutting 1/2 to 1 full coil off the rears and getting better shocks. I noticed a little extra "bounce" from the rear after my install, so I promptly up graded to Bilstein's at all four corners...

    What are the symptoms of a bad a/c compressor clutch? My a/c almost sounds like diesel (rattle) when it cycles on, but it still works good, cools the car just fine.

    The cheap way out is to buy a grille reinforcement, as long as your bumper is in good shape it will save you some money by doing it yourself. Try this link for a reinforcement. Click Here. Just use a flat black spray paint so it won't stick out, because they come unpainted in the gray...

    How do you guys get the bearing back in the axle? I had a bearing driver, but it was plastic.... it worked on one axle. I still need to do the other side someday and was wondering what you guys use.

    window clunk

    Why wait until the warranty is gone? Get it done for free. Mine will cluck when it's down about 2/3rds of the way, but it's not loud and it only does it when I hit big bumps......:shrug: My radio is usually up too loud to even hear wind noise w/the window at 2/3rds.

    Just get the "C" springs from frpp. They give a good "rack" effect, lowering the front more than the rear.

    has anyone else had any problems with panhard bar after installation??

    I probably could have rotated my exhaust enough to keep it from banging, IF I had not over tightend my clamps and crushed the piping some.

    My panhard hits in the same spot, I've tried all kinds of things to get it to stop banging. I did manage to bend the muffler hanger some, now I just have a rattle when I take off from a stop. I've been seriously thinking about a side exhaust for my '00 just so I won't have to deal with it anymore.

    So they fixed it, you threw a bunch of mods on, it blew up and you took it back? Be alittle more specific about what mods you had or added. Is it supercharged? Why would they say the a/f was off?

    Use a rubber mallet and pound the crap out em'. If you're careful use some wd-40/liquid wrench stuff first. Just make sure you clean everything up with brake cleaner afterwards and don't get it on your pads.

    something I've noticed today

    The production tolerances for the body can vary by as much as 1/4-1/2 of an inch on our cars. Sometimes you have to deal with it. As long as the alignment is good, the extra 1/2 finger thing could just be a cosmetic.
