unusual idle/click click - vid inside

Now that you have replaced your IAC, try resetting your idle with this procedure. 1. Disconnect the negative terminal to your battery and turn on your headlights for about 10 minutes(there's a lot of speculation as to how long. some people will even say to disconnect the positive terminal and...

    Help Vaccum Leak

You need to check more than the TB. Have you have found the rubber fitting previously mentioned? You have to follow the two red, hard plastic vac lines that come out of it. They will follow the pass side cam cover and then connect to rubber lines that go into the fire wall. Check them from...

    Suspension still knocking!

+1 CC plates. I had the Steeda ones and the bearing that the strut goes through would move up and down in the plate against the snap rings causing a loud clunk. Come to find out it was machined wrong I sent it back for a new one. You can check this by putting the car on jack stands then...

    Cleaning the MAF

Some throttle cleaners leave a film that you don't want on your MAF. Take it out of the housing and use rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.

    couple timing questions

Yes, that is your spout connector. The only way to know exactly how much timing you can run with your specific setup, gas, and car is to experiment. Bump the timing one degree at a time and drive the car. Listen for pinging and feel for power loss or gain. At this point you will know how...

    valve cover gasket

The difference is Romeo or Windsor Heads. Just tell the dealer how many bolts you have in each VC and they will get you the correct one. If you already have the VC's off just look at your cam caps. If the are caps (individual 2 bolts each) and not cages then you have a Windsor head.

94 5.0 idling too high and running rough

Try resetting your idle with the following procedure. If your idle problem is NOT being caused by a bad part or vacuum leak then I have never seen this not fix the problem! Begin with a cold vehicle. The idea here is to get the car to a firm cold idle with enough air bleed capacity left in...

    Weird Idle

Try resetting your idle with the following procedure. Begin with a cold vehicle. The idea here is to get the car to a firm cold idle with enough air bleed capacity left in the idle circuit for IAC adjustment. The idle stop should be set first. Back out the idle stop screw, away from the...

car dies out when coming to a stop

If you try cleaning it, don't be surprised if it gets worse. Some times cleaning the IAC makes the problem worse. Due to the shape and design of the valve you will not be able to 100% clean the orifice inside the valve and might even make it more dirty when you clean the areas that you can...

Try resetting your idle with this procedure and if the car does not respond to this change then replace your IAC. Also have you noticed if it only happens when you have you A/C, defrost or mix turned on? 1. Disconnect the negative terminal to your battery and turn on your headlights for...
