    My hood blanket has been off for a few weeks now, even after a trip to alabama and chicago.... lots of street cruizing... no mess, no cracks in the paint, no signs of anything negative... I can't say how much it helps.. but it has to cool things down at least a little bit - makes me feel better...

    Only for an 04 cobra? I have never heard of anything like this... the 04 is more or less just a 3rd run of 03 cars... different flash, different mid-pipes (better cats is what I heard) and different pain selections... other than that.. what gives?

    Well... we all know that taking off on the track can be tough in these cars, but slipping the clutch is the fastest way to wear it out. If your plan is to race down the strip a lot... you might want to think about a performance auto-matic with a good stall setting...

    No need to get paranoid, it's a ford not a kia :) How many miles do you have on it now? If you ware 5 to 10k below 36k... you are fine with plenty of time to get problems fixed. Besides, it is not uncommong for ford to mail you an extended warrenty about a certain high failing part...
