    its fine for a 2.3 and OK for turbo , thats what I have. but I heard some stories about 5.0L with a 7.5 rear. defintly should have a 8.8 for them.

    Thanks for the input guys. I know the crap load of stuff to convert the 2.3 to 5.0 and now knowing that the brakes and wheels don't need to be upgraded will make this 5.0 dream seem a bit more realistic for me. THANKS :D

    4 lug tires VS 5.0L engine question. Ok so in the future I'm planning on dropping a 5.0 replacing my 4 banger. I do have plans for a 8.8 rear, BUT do I need to upgrade the brakes to a 5 lug??? People say it will handle better but stopping is stopping, weither I'm going 120KM with a 4 banger...

    Ya i will be getting a donar car cause of all the parts needed to do a PROPER swap. If I'm going to go as far as put a new engine in, it makes sense to make my LX a GT as possible. Ya I know I can buy a GT but its funner.

    I know its probally a tranny, just make sure the car is running when you check your tranny fluid level to get proper results.

    You can easily make them. But if you have the bucks go for it. I made mine which works fine.

    Thats fer sure. I am sure once I drop my 302 in I will peel down there :D But I need the T5 tranny for starts then the complete engine overhaul with headers, dual exhaust etc. :D

    Body work questions?

    From my experience. Primer is not water proof meaning you need some kind of bas coat after the primer. Some claim the prevent rust, but never did for my 10 years body work experience. Primer is basically used so the basecoat will stick to it. As it cant really stick on bare metal. My 2 cents

    N/A stock 2.3 performance

    I think it was the conversion to Roller Cam for 91 and above that made a big difference.
