    it's loud with stock H-pipe, but not obnoxiously so. Even with straight mid-pipe, no exhaust, it's not that loud.

    just from looking at an auto and a manual '04 it looks like the bezel is the same. Not 100% but there's no outward difference.

    not much at all probably, they're everywhere since so many people swap out the mid-pipe. I'd ask $150 but take $100 personally, there may be more demand where you are though.

    you should pass fine with stock manifolds and the SLP catted X, at least you will pass the visual. Sniffer test depends on a few other factors too so I can't say for sure. Like bdcardinal said, you'll fail no with anything other than stock in Kalifornia :nonono:

    another thing I noticed when I put my the Loudmouth on. I fired it up with the midpipe back dropped and it really wasn't that loud. Of course this is comparing a Maverick with a big block, lopey cam, and open longtubes to a stock 4.6 with 4 cats

    I installed mine today, very very happy :nice: only problems I had were getting the old cat-back off, had to run to westlake to get some hacksaw blades since I couldn't find a sawzall. :nonono:

    MAC vs SLP

    I can't say much about the SLP sound as it's sitting in my garage uninstalled right now (weekend baby :banana: ) but the quality is very impressive. The welds are perfect, the mufflers and tips look amazing. The packing job was top notch, they even padded the instructions, stickers, and clamps.

    nope, still have the same paper filter that came with the car (just rolled over 4k mi) I've got a JLT CAI coming either tommorow or friday though.

    I don't have a CAI (yet ;) ) and under any sort of throttle more than none I hear a hissing coming from the front of the car. Any idea what this could be? Everything is completely stock right now as far as mechanicals.
