    I haven't even hit 4k on mine yet, change it first time ~1200. I'll probably change it again at 6k and then every 5-6k after that using only synthetic oil and filter. Regardless of miles I wouldn't feel good leaving the same oil and filter in for anything over 6 months, and that's with...

    if you're using synthetic and not going to change it as often, Mobil1, K&N, or Amsoil. If you're running regular oil then motorcraft is fine. The only thing I like about Fram is the grip stuff on the end.

    Let's look at the Mach, Longtubes, o/r X pipe and catback would probably be enough to make it a damn good race if nothing else. Now if you're talking about the C6, then you'd need a little extra.
