How many years from now till we see a NEW bodystyle?

not exactly billions... if you count all the facilities to make the engines, chassis, etc then maybe, but that's why they're modular engines and chassis are shared cross platform. IMO the 98 and 99 stangs are a drastic redesign as far as cosmetics go. The chassis should be good for 15-20 years IMO

all with bored blocks, strokers, come in...

same here, a big bore is usually part of a whole build up. If you think about it though, it would be kind of a pain in the ass to get all the work done to a stock engine, then put it back in and run it on a dyno, then take it back out to finish the work, then put it back.

If you have 5 speed + remote start...

I've never heard of remote start being illegal to install on a manual car. The people installing my alarm are installing the remote start while they're there though I may never use it. If you can wait till after this weekend I'll talk to the guys doing mine and ask them any questions you've got.

all with bored blocks, strokers, come in...

one of the problems with our engines is that the borexstroke is almost square, not the best situation for a performance engine. Another problem is that the bore is so narrow that the valves are partially shrouded, upsetting smooth entry of the air fuel mixture and hurting power. The 4v heads...

    13" Antenna

98stangv8, sweet car :nice: about how tall is it now? I'll probably order the 8" from mustangtuning in a week or so when I get my bumper inserts, saves on shipping ;)

    Side mirror Project

yay for geeks :D I think the camera idea is pretty cool, do you have pictures of the setup or could you email them to me? It's rather optimistic looking for CAD files from this place ;)

    A few tinting questions

I've got limo on the back and 28% on the sides, pics are in my sig. The dot matrix on the back is a real pain, I've already taken mine back to see what they can do. It's still loose but not as bad, I think they just sanded it a bit. wtf is that dot matrix stuff for anyway?

    Custom fiberglass enclosures

that's about the same method I was planning on using, but molding them to the side wheel wells instead. That's the same tutorial I've been looking at also, specifically this one http://web.njit.edu/~cas1383/proj/Glassing2/index.htm

    Does size really matter?

3" single exhaust (f-bodies) is just fine, but duals it's just too much for NA. 2.5 for duals is just fine, you won't be choking it until you've got a big ass cam and maybe even bored and stroked.

    Does size really matter?

Back pressure is a very misleading term, what you want is air velocity and volume. Too big of an throttle body can slow down the intake charge and cause general hell with your intake and hurt power, same with exhaust. Now if you're not NA and using forced induction, bigger is always better ;)

    Custom fiberglass enclosures

I'm thinking about molding some fiberglass enclosures for the wheel wells in my '04 with the Mach1000 system. Right now I'm undecided whether to make them for the stock 10s with a little extra volume to upgrade later, or to make them specifically for 12s that I have yet to pick out. The amps...

    mach 1000 that good?

there is definitly a lack of trunk space, but it is impressive. Everyone I've shown mine to has been impressed that it was stock, even those that have very high class systems. It doesn't sound as good as those systems, but from the factory it's the best system I've heard personally. The subs...
